Radio Tracker 2 allows you to compile your MP3 collection by `cutting' tracks from a choice of over 13000 international internet radio stations provided by the SHOUTCAST distribution network - recording up to 99 stations at one time [bandwidth dependent] [over 1Gb in 24 hours] The interface is basic and easy to use. You simply select the genre of music you are interested in [from a choice of 77] and RT will record all the tracks from stations broadcasting the genre, happily running in the background RadioTracker 2 records the tracks in MP3 format including multiple source ID-3 tags [this records the track title, artist name and album], and even the lyrics and Album covers Unlike competitor products, all tracks are recorded at a uniform volume with adjustable filters ensuring all adverts and jingles are removed from the recordings, and fading applied between tracks, negating the need for further `mixing'. If a track is duplicated, RadioTracker will automatically select the better version Advanced functions include the ability to administer your Favourites, include/exclude artists or title, and add a radio station by typing the URL and a Wishlist database. The Wishlist database is a self-compiling central server `listening' to the tracks played over ShoutCAST and determining which tracks are popular with which radio stations. The user can then create a `wishlist' of the artist or tracks they would most like to download, and RT2 is able to determine which radio stations are most likely to play the `wishlist' allowing a much faster compilation Also included is the `RingHero' ringtone maker - select your favourite track and `edit' it to a 30 second ringtone.
